Offshore Floating Hose

Offshore floating hose is designed for transporting fuel and other materials between fixed offshore platforms and supply ships. The hose is designed to float and features a highly visible yellow stripe spiraling around the hose so that it can be quickly identified for delivery. It also effectively eliminates malfunctions during transportation.

Advantages:

Application: The floating hose is designed for delivering materials such as between fuel, barite, slurry, and potable water between offshore platforms. A floating layer is applied inside the hose for better visibility in the water.

Temperature Range: -30℃~ + 100℃

Floating Ability: >大于25%

Construction:
  • Tube: Chosen according to different media (delivering material);
  • Reinforcement: High strength composite fiber cord and conductive copper wire;
  • Floating: Microcellular foaming composite material;
  • Cover: Black chloroprene rubber with excellent oil resistance, abrasive resistance, ozone and sea water resistance, anti-aging performance, etc.
